Clinching, also called toxing, has become indispensable in automated manufacturing.

The ever-changing companies of the automotive industry in particular rely on the cold joining process. The reason for this is (energy) efficiency, on the one hand. On the other hand, it is electrical conductivity, which, due to the continuous development towards electric mobility, is more in demand than ever. The standardized TOX^® Clinching System reliably joins your components to the previously defined X dimension - with high availability all year round.

Intelligent tongs

Clamp-specific data such as calibration factors, maintenance counters and maximum values are not stored on the controller, but on a retentive memory on the clamp. This means that you never lose track of the data, even when changing a gun.

The pneumatic ToolCheck provides additional intelligence on the tongs. This checks the tools and detects possible defects.

Standardized modules

The clinching system consists of standardized modules. This way, we provide you with cost-optimized systems and can optimally respond to time-critical requirements.

TOX^® Clinching Frame joining tongs with integrated data management. Parameters such as calibration factors and maintenance counters are stored on the tongs, simplifying the setup for quick functioning.

TOX^® MultiControl for up to 15 joining tongs in one line
Standardized TOX^® Software (middleware, HMI, user interface, process monitoring) and control

System Configuration - Clinching System

A clinching system can be executed stationary as well as robot-guided. We are happy to support you in the individual planning of the application. The technology test and the preparation of a test report are the basis for the project planning of a system. There, the basics are created and with the customer-specific requirements for the application, the systems can be assembled from a wide range of standard and special components.
