CSR activities 2023-2024

Education activities

TOX® India continued its commitment towards education and community development. We undertook a comprehensive renovation of a local primary school Located in Mohol Nagar, Ambadvet, Pune, to enhance the learning environment for young students.

Project Highlights

  • Complete Renovation: We undertook a full-scale renovation of the school premises, addressing various infrastructural needs to create a safer and more conducive learning environment.

  • Construction of Toilets: Recognizing the importance of sanitation, we constructed modern toilet facilities to ensure hygienic conditions for students and staff.

  • Kitchen Shed: A new kitchen shed was built to support the preparation of nutritious meals for the students, contributing to their overall well-being.

  • Water Supply: To address water scarcity issues, we provided a water tanker to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of water for the school’s needs.

  • School Painting: To brighten the school environment, we painted the school building, creating a more inviting and stimulating space for students.


Impact and Benefits

This initiative has significantly improved the infrastructure of the primary school, positively impacting the educational experience of over 35-40 students. The renovation not only enhances the physical environment but also promotes better hygiene and nutrition, contributing to the overall development of the children.

Inauguration Ceremony

We were thrilled to celebrate the successful completion of our project with an inauguration ceremony held on International Women’s Day, 08th March 2024. The event was attended by local dignitaries, community leaders, school staff, students, and representatives from TOX® Pressotechnik. The inauguration marked the official opening of the renovated school, and it was an occasion of great pride for everyone involved.

During the ceremony, we highlighted the improvements made and the positive impact on the school community. The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, speeches from key stakeholders, and a tour of the newly renovated facilities. It was a moment of joy and accomplishment as we witnessed the students and staff enjoying their enhanced learning environment. Further on the occasion of International Women’s day we honoured all the lady teachers of the school for their hard work for the school.

CSR activities 2022-2023

Education activities

For this year also, TOX® India have continued its CSR initiative in the field of education in its local rural area by further development of the Zilla Parishad Primary School, Village Ambadvet, Pirangut, Pune. TOX® India had planted trees, tree pits, installed paver blocks with the purpose of providing a clean and healthy surrounding for the students. 
TOX® India spent nearly about 75% of its funds towards the development of the school premises and ensured that the necessary accessories, such as computers, TV box, school stationery items, books, toys, etc. are available in the school. 
In addition, TOX® India also set up a computer lab and library in the school. By setting up a library and computer lab in rural school, TOX® India undertakes to bridge the technology and knowledge gap.

Rural development activities

Expanding CSR scope for the development of rural area, TOX® India have constructed speed breakers around the school in village Ambadvet, Pirangut, Pune, to slow down traffic near schools so that children can cross the road more easily or cross at ease. TOX® India have also installed the CCTV cameras in Ambadvet, Amralewadi, Shindewadi (near Datta Mandir), local rural areas, to curb incidences of theft and promote safety. By constructing speed breakers and installing CCTV cameras in rural areas, TOX® India is actively contributing to the development and safety of these communities, which is completely social and beneficial.

CSR activities 2021-2022

Healthcare activities

The CoVID-19 pandemic gripped India once again in its second wave in April-May 2021. TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK (INDIA) PVT LTD (TOX-IN) striving to fulfil its social and national responsibility towards supporting the healthcare infrastructure and in tackling oxygen shortage across India, donated more than 43% of its CSR funds in one of the largest civic-led initiatives- Project ‘Mission Vayu’ run by PPCR (Pune Platform for CoVID-19 Response), anchored by MCCIA (Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture). Project Mission Vayu with the support of numerous donors was successful in donating 7,800 oxygen concentrators, 875 BiPaP ventilators, and 50,000 pulse oximeters across India, aggregating an outlay of INR 100 crores.

Education activities

Continuing its previous CSR initiative in the field of education in its rural local area, TOX-IN undertook to build educational and sanitary infrastructure at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Village Ambadvet, Pirangut, Pune. TOX-IN spent 55% of its funds towards complete refurbishment of classrooms at the school that needed urgent repairs. 
Also, continuing its previous year’s ongoing project with an outlay of 50% of previous year’s funds, completed construction of proper restrooms for boys and girls in the school premises. TOX-IN also donated 2% of CSR-funds to a charitable institution ‘Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha’, Pune that has been working relentlessly since 125 years towards educating destitute women and thereby empowering them to become self-reliant.

Education activities

Expanding the CSR scope to education for the welfare of children of local area-Village Ambadvet, TOX® India is desirous of providing better educational facilities, including better infrastructure to schools in Village Ambadvet that are deprived of basic facilities. TOX® India has flagged off the project in March 2021 and hopeful in completing it soon. 

Healthcare activities

Continuing on its previous year’s healthcare initiative for the residents of its local area-Village Ambadvet village (Taluka-Mulshi, Pune), TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK (INDIA) PVT LTD (TOX® India) successfully carried out comprehensive preventive free-medical health check-up (around 15 medical tests per person) of 101 men and 30 women in February-March 2021 at Chellaram Diabetes Care & Multispecialty Hospital, Pune. The initiative was well received by the residents.

Healthcare activities

TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK (INDIA) PVT LTD (TOX® India) marked International Women’s Day celebration-2020 with its focus on health, hygiene and longevity for community women, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. With strong cultural roots, TOX® India salutes woman who plays a mother, sister, daughter-in-law, wife, and friend, and above all is the nurturer of life.

In the first of its kind in the history of women folk hailing from Ambadvet village (Taluka-Mulshi, Pune), TOX® India successfully carried out comprehensive preventive free-medical health check-up (around 15 medical tests per person) of 179 women in March 2020 at Chellaram Diabetes Care & Multispecialty Hospital, Pune. The programme was immensely appreciated by women who felt honoured and treasured beyond measure with a sense of belongingness amidst the huge social vacuum that plagues our society.

Striving to improve health and sanitation for women and a step towards reducing the ecological footprint, TOX® India donated sanitary-napkin vending machines and eco-friendly sanitary-waste disposal incinerators-‘Dahini’ at MES Rani Laxmibai Mulinchi Sainiki School, Pirangut, Pune.
