The TOX^® FlexPress Compact is an electric manual workstation for precise work results with seamless process monitoring . Proven mechanics and decades of expertise in press construction meet process monitoring with state-of-the-art features and a sophisticated control concept.

The FlexPress Compact is available in four performance levels with maximum pressing forces of 5 kN, 10 kN, 30 kN and 60 kN and covers a force range from around 0.05 kN to 60 kN, depending on the version and operating conditions.

The manufacturing requirements for the assembly of modern components are continuously increasing in terms of data acquisition and evaluation. To ensure consistently high quality, it is usually no longer sufficient to manually declare assembled components OK or not OK. Traceability of the individual processes has become relevant.

The lighting acts as a status indicator: green light means that the next process can follow immediately, red light indicates that the completed component does not fulfill the quality requirements. The safety gate remains closed until the error message is "Reset". This immediate visual feedback enables workers to keep their focus on the assembly workstation without having to look at the control panel. Perfect for efficient organisation of the assembly workstation.

Robust design for safe working and high stability

The workstation is driven by the electromechanical servo presses from the TOX^® ElectricDrive series. EQe-K and EXe-K drives with integrated force and displacement sensors are installed for this purpose. The press structure consists of a welded frame on which the drive, the safety device, the enclosure and the drive cover are mounted. This design promises a long service life and creates a low noise environment for the workers.

As a result, the FlexPress Compact is not only very quiet in operation, but also requires little space. All the technologies mastered by TOX^® can be realised on a footprint of just 425mm x 703mm x 1402mm. Even with the base frame/table, this corresponds to less than 1 square meter of required floor space.
