Precise drive technology

TOX® ElectricDrive servo drives with integrated force/displacement sensors enable precise and energy-efficient pressing and joining operations across a force range from 0.05 kN to 200 kN. They ensure high repeat accuracy and consistent quality while requiring low energy consumption and minimal maintenance.

Thanks to modular integration, the drive technology can be flexibly adapted to different applications and press frames, forming the basis for economical, future-proof production.

Ergonomic workplace design

The TOX® FlexPress Station is designed as an ergonomic assembly station for demanding assembly and joining processes in industrial manufacturing. Optimised operating heights, excellent accessibility, an optimally illuminated work area and intuitive operation support comfortable and safe working at the press workstation.

The ergonomic design reduces physical strain, improves workflows and increases efficiency in daily operations. At the same time, the clear structure facilitates maintenance and service and ensures short downtimes.

The FlexPress Station has been designed for ergonomic and efficient working. All controls are optimally aligned with the user and can be flexibly adapted to different requirements and working environments. The UDI panel is available with either a 15" or 21" display and has a stable mount that allows it to be tilted up and down, swivelled backwards and adjusted to three different heights. This ensures optimal visibility and comfortable operation at all times.

The base frame of the FlexPress Station is available in different versions: as a rigid version for standing or seated workstations or as an electrically height-adjustable version, where different fixed heights can be individually defined. On request, the entire operating side with display and control cabinet can also be designed on the left-hand side to enable the best possible integration into existing production environments.

Convenient handling

The ergonomic operating concept and process monitoring of the FlexPress Station ensure comfortable and safe handling.

The integrated control panel is equipped with an emergency stop button for immediate safety. A two-hand start function and three-sided protection are standard features and ensure optimum personal safety during the pressing process.

The 15'' UDI panel has a modern touch interface with the latest TOX® software , which enables intuitive control, simple process parameterisation and clear visualisation of all relevant data.

Process start:

  • Two-hand start function equipped with three-sided protection for optimum personal safety

  • One-hand button for simplified process start when equipped with light barrier or safety door

Integrated control panel:

  • Immediate safety thanks to emergency stop button

  • Up to 4 customer-specific speed dial buttons (optional)

UDI panel:

  • Touch interface with the latest TOX® software

  • Full control of force-displacement processes

  • More power in the 21" version

Three safety concepts. One goal: maximum operator and process safety

Basic
Two-hand controls ensure safe operation, as they must be operated with both hands simultaneously outside the danger zone.
safety light curtain
The safety light curtain monitors the intervention area without contact and stops the press stroke immediately in the event of an interruption.
Electrical safety door
The electric safety door protects the working area and releases the pressing process only once the locked position is safely reached.

Reliable process data

Continuous process monitoring forms the basis for stable and reproducible joining connections. With the TOX® software, relevant process variables such as force and displacement are continuously recorded, visualised and evaluated throughout the entire pressing process.

The recorded process data is available for analysis, quality assurance and process optimisation and enables complete technical traceability of each individual joining operation. Deviations can be detected at an early stage and corrected in a targeted manner, ensuring consistently high process quality.

  • 10 tracks in one diagram

  • 5 freely definable windows per process

Visual display

A traffic light enables quick, high-level recognition of the current machine status – even from a greater distance and independently of the control panel. This means that it is possible to see at a glance whether the system is producing, has malfunctioned or requires attention (e.g. refilling material, removing parts).

The workspace is equipped with LED RGBW lighting that immediately visualises the process status: a green light signals a successfully completed joining process, while a red light warns that a component does not meet the quality criteria. The replenishment of components is indicated by a white light, while a running process is indicated by a blue light.

Compared to a pure status display, process-oriented lighting is particularly helpful where quick decisions are important. This reduces search and response times, increases operating and process reliability, and ensures a calm, structured workflow in the workplace.
